Questions people actually ask
Including the sceptical ones. If something here is not answered plainly enough, ask us directly.
- What is AiJyot?
- AiJyot is a Vedic astrology (Jyotiṣa) platform whose AI reads your actual birth chart and answers from the classical śāstra. It combines a Swiss-Ephemeris-precision calculation engine with a corpus of more than 22,000 rules extracted from 24 classical texts, and covers over 60 tools — birth charts, 27 divisional charts, dashas, predictions, muhūrta, pañcāṅga, Karma Vipāka, Lal Kitab, KP, Swara Yoga and more. It is built at Swara Yoga Peeth Sansthan in Rishikesh, India.
- How is AiJyot different from ChatGPT or a normal AI astrology app?
- A general chatbot generates plausible-sounding astrology from patterns in its training data — it has not computed your chart and cannot cite a rule. AiJyot computes your chart first, retrieves the classical rules that actually match it, and only then writes the answer. You can open any judgement and see which rule from which text produced it.
- Does AiJyot hallucinate?
- It is designed so that it cannot hallucinate the things that matter. Planetary positions, periods and rule matches are computed deterministically before any language is generated, so the AI is never the component that decides them. Every reading can be traced back to the specific classical rules that fired for that chart.
- Which classical texts does AiJyot use?
- Twenty-four extracted works, including Bṛhat Parāśara Horā Śāstra, Sārāvalī, Jātaka Pārijāta, Sarvārtha Cintāmaṇi, Bhāva Kutūhalam, Praśna Mārga, Nārada Saṃhitā, Bhṛgu Saṃhitā, Bhṛgu Nandi Nāḍī, Tājika Nīlakaṇṭhī, Muhūrta Cintāmaṇi, Narpati Jayacaryā's Svarodaya, Gaurī-Kāñcalikā Tantra, Kerala Praśna Śāstra, the Krishnamurti Paddhati readers and Lal Kitab. Texts are extracted śloka by śloka from the Sanskrit source.
- Can I get predictions for a specific question?
- Yes. You can ask a specific question — about a job, a marriage proposal, a move, a surgery date, a business launch — and receive a focused answer grounded in your chart, your running dasha and today's transits, with the classical reasoning shown underneath.
- Does it do kundali matching for marriage?
- Yes. Full Aṣṭakūṭa (36-guṇa) and Daśakūṭa matching with Māṅglika-pair cancellation rules and lagna-lord friendship, plus a deeper married-life analysis of both charts and the wedding muhūrta — rather than only a compatibility score.
- What languages does AiJyot support?
- Sixteen: English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Odia, Urdu, Spanish, German and Chinese. Readings can also be narrated aloud in a pandit's voice in Hindi, Sanskrit and English.
- What is Swara Yoga and why does AiJyot have it?
- Swara Yoga is the science of reading the breath — which nostril is flowing and which tattva is active — as an instrument for timing and decision-making. It is the teaching tradition of Swara Yoga Peeth Sansthan, and AiJyot computes it live alongside the chart. No other astrology software includes it, because no other publisher holds the lineage.
- Is AiJyot free?
- Access is currently by invitation while onboarding is completed. You can explore the full product on a real sample chart without signing up, and request an invitation from any page; an administrator responds personally.
- Can professional astrologers use it with clients?
- Yes. It includes a birth-time rectification lab, an 80–120 page print-ready client report, a database of roughly 28,000 public-figure charts for study, and an Ācārya practice layer with a public profile, offerings, bookings and payouts.
- Who built AiJyot?
- Swara Yoga Peeth Sansthan, Rishikesh, India, in the lineage of Rajrishi Swami Charanashrit Giri Ji Maharaj. It is built by practitioners of the tradition rather than by a general software company adding astrology as a category.
